    Q. Can I ride double?
    A. Due to Allegheny National Forest Law changes our double rider rules have changed. Please read changes carefully because there are no exceptions to these rules. All double riders must follow PA DMV codes. Any child under 4 years of age or weighing less than 40 lbs or under the height of 4 foot 9 inches tall are required to use a child restraint device. A child between 4 and under 8 years of age who weighs more than 80 lbs. or who is 4 foot 9 inches or taller may be fastened in a vehicle seat belt system with out the use of a booster seat. These passengers can only ride in a class 2 ATV with these types of child safety seats. Passengers 8 years of age and older may ride on a class 1 ATV with an approved after market seat only.

    Q. Do I need to have insurance and registration?
    A. Yes, you must have valid insurance and registration from your Pennsylvania recognized state.

    Q. Do I need to have my ATV and all of my information when I pick up my packet?
    A. Yes, you must have your machine, registration and insurance present at the time of registration.

    Q. Is there a CC limit on my ATV or dirt bike?
    A. No, there is not a CC restriction on ATVs or dirt bikes.

    Q. Do I need to have the Allegheny National Forest trail permit?
    A. The Allegheny National Forest trail permit is not required for the Tour-De-Forest.

    Q. I am an Ohio Resident, do I need to have a Pennsylvania registration?
    A. No, Pennsylvania will now honor a valid Ohio registration.

    Q. Is there a speed limit on the route?
    A. Yes, there is a 25 MPH speed limit on the route.

    Q. I have a big trailer, will there be room to park?
    A. Yes, we have plenty of parking area and you can ride your machine from all parking areas to the route.

    Q. Is there hotels and camp grounds near by?
    A. Yes, there are many places to either camp or hotels to stay at see our ads/links page for more information.

    Q. Where do I register?
    A. Registration is at the fire station on Friday night. Saturday one-day registration is at the school and two-day is at the township building. Sunday registration is at the township building. There are signs and fire police directing you to these areas.

    Q. What is the difficulty level of this ride?
    A. This ride has a very low level of difficulty. It is a leisure ride for all to enjoy.

    Q. Can I ride to the route from my hotel / campground?
    A. There are some places to stay where you can, make sure you ask when booking.

    Q. I am staying at a place that I can ride to the route from, do I need anything else?
    A. Yes, you need to pick up your packet prior to riding the trail.

    Q. What time does the route open?
    A. The route opens at 8:00 AM on both Saturday and Sunday.

    Q. Is this a guided ride and how many times can I do the loop?
    A. No, this is not a guided ride and you can do the loops as many times as time will allow. The route closes at 4:00 PM on Saturday and 3:00 PM on Sunday.

    Q. How old do you have to be to participate?
    A. The Tour-De-Forest follows all Pennsylvania State Laws. Driver must be at least 16 years of age unless he or she has a safety certificate and is under the direct supervision of a person at least 18 years of age.     Q. What states registration are ok in Pennsylvania?
    A. The following states have registration programs and recognize Pennsylvania's registration program for snowmobiles and ATVs. Therefore, riders who possess valid registrations from the following list of states may legally ride in Pennsylvania. http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/atv/reciprocity.aspx
